Windlass Cottage, Lymington

Lovely cottage, beautifully presented and in an ideal location in Lymington.

Positive: Location ideal and the ability to garage our car extremely useful. All amenities within walking distance and the glorious expanse of New Forest a few minutes drive away. A period cottage given a tasteful modernisation. The owners/management team were responsive and incredibly helpful.

Beautiful house close to the sea, the shops and the train - perfect for a great holiday. Positive: Beautiful house (inside and out) with lots of comfy sofa and chairs. A lovely garden courtyard. Very well-equipped and a great location. Hosts very helpful and responsive. Peaceful and close to the sea. Negative: Mattresses in the upper floor rooms not as comfortable as the master bedroom.

Great location, parking available in nearby private garage Positive: Great location and a sweet spot to stay for a few days. Close to everything. The hosts were very accommodating when we experienced an issue with the cleaning and sorted it immediately. Negative: As it’s by the Main Street, it’s quite noisy in 2 of the bedrooms.

Positive: The house and location was stunning. We enjoyed a lovely trip for Beaulieu which has something to offer for everyone, and Exbury Gardens
