Little Hayes, Lyndhurst

Fantastic weekend away for a celebration Positive: Sparkling clean, all bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated and the space was perfect for the celebration! Love the main dining table and the outbuilding / dining area. The communication with the team was fantastic, quick responses. Negative: The property is on a busy main road and the road noise is very clear - just to bear in mind if you want to use outside space

10 of us (Three generations with an age range 2 to 70) stayed for 2 nights to celebrate a family birthday. Instructions to get the keys and open the gate were very clear and even included a helpful video. We asked a few questions about the house before we went and always had an answer within 24 hours or less. Very helpful.We found it very clean and tidy. Towels and a fan in every bedroom. Also a welcome pack waiting for us with various snacks.Great location in the middle of the New Forest. A pub across the road and Lyndhurst High Street a 5 minute walk away.

Great weekend and great place to stay . Our 2nd time here and we will return Positive: It’s a great location, a short walk into town and the Waterloo Arms is on,y 5 min walk. We were a group of 5 couples staying for weekend bike riding around the new Forest . You can directly access the Forest from the house without having to go on any busy roads and there is a safe bike store/ shed. All the rooms have great en suite facilities and all rooms are double and are all are as good as each other . The common area space is ample with great kitchen / diner and adjacent sitting room with a great fire pit out side Negative: The only downside is that it is on the main road and can be a tad noisy first thing although house is double glazed , but benefits outweigh this

There were nothing we did not like about Little Hayes Positive: Very good for a large group to keep together downstairs, open plan worked very well for us

Super comfy house, perfect for a group of 12 Positive: The decoration and the garden at the property was exceptional. All bedrooms were excellent so nobody got the small one. The location was superb to explore the NF Negative: Right next to the road but for a weekend this wasn't an issue
